4 It Took Six Years To Make Luckiest Girl Alive

While the source material was an instant hit when the book was released in 2015, like many adaptations, making it into a film has been a lengthy six-year process for the first-time screenwriter.

In February 2021, Knoll announced Mila Kunis' casting using a post on her Instagram account detailing the multiple drafts and, later, redrafts she went through. The movie arrived on Netflix, on October 7th.
