After undergoing a very public breakup, Ariana Grande, who was formerly engaged to Saturday Night Live's Pete Davidson, is (jokingly) sharing her wisdom on picking engagement rings: just don't do it.
The 25-year-old singer commented on an Instagram post by The Zoe Report, which promoted guidelines for choosing the perfect rock. "13 tips & tricks for finding the perfect engagement ring (including the popular metal you should actually avoid) — link in bio," the caption read.
Grande, however, left a savage one-word comment on the post: "Don't." (Cue "thank u, next," please.)
Over the summer, Ariana received a massive teardrop diamond engagement ring from Davidson, but she has reportedly returned the flashy piece of jewelry after they called off they split.

Despite her quip about rings, Grande doesn't actually seem to be embittered by her breakup with Davidson, if her latest single is any proof. In "thank u, next," which has already taken over the internet less than a week after its release, Grande thanks her exes for the experiences she gained and lessons she learned from their relationships.
"I've got so much love / Got so much patience / I've learned from the pain / I turned out amazing," she sings in the last verse.
Not long after dropping the single, Grande performed the song live for the first time this week on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, in a choreo-filled set inspired by The First Wives Club.
Grande and Davidson's breakup was reported just last month, with a source telling People that the whirlwind engagement was "way too much too soon."
Davidson also snuck in some kind words for her former fiancée during an appearance on SNL last week.. "She’s a wonderful, strong person, and I genuinely wish her all the happiness in the world," he said of Grande.
